House Mold

Every homeowner will experience mold at some point or another.  Left untreated for too long, water damage will give way to mold growth.  You can count on it.  Mold puts in an appearance usually within 48 hours, spreads like wildfire, and can be virtually impossible to remove.  In addition, certain types of house mold, such as black mold, can produce mycotoxins that can cause health issues ranging from slight allergic reactions to more serious issues such as neurological disorders and in rare cases, even death.

Be sure to wear protective clothing when working around mold, and a filtration mask or respirator is essential to prevent mold spore inhalation.
