Dehumidifier
A device which reduces the level of moisture and humidity in the air. It can remove water from a room's surfaces and materials. Dehumidifiers can regulate the humidity level in the indoor space to prevent further water damage and moisture development. It can be used to remove water from cement floors, insulation, carpets, interior paints, drywall, basements, and plaster.
Dessicant Dehumidifier
This is a chemical absorbent dehumidifier used to absorb moisture from wet surfaces and from the air. A dessicant, is a drying agent, such as silica gel, which attracts water vapor. A fan moves the air through the device and over the dessicant, which is generally placed on a wheel. The air moves over the dessicant holder and dries the the air exhausts the hot damp air outdoors, usually through a duct system.
Drainage Law
