Mold allergies are like no others, as they attack you all year long, compared to pollen, mold spores are more prevalent during the spring and summer growing months. Mold may stop growing during the colder months, but it will still circulate and cause health problems in it’s wake. If you suspect a mold allergy, see your doctor, and check out your home for the source. If you have mold in your home, move out until the problem can be solved.

The best way to keep your home free of mold, fungus and musty odors is to keep it as dry as possible. One suggestion is a large volume dehumidifier in your basement, which will keep the humidity below 50%.
